everyone is claiming how big vivo is and etc. haven't been there since it opened 2 months ago, so me and irene decided to take a look there yesterday and do some shopping.
you know what happens when 2 shopaholics comes together..

irene went there on tuesday with her mom already, but she's not satisfied with that shopping trip 'cause her mom went to places like Bossini @ vivo -.-
i mean, go vivo should go to places like Gap and Forever 21. Bossini is everywhere ma. so we're determined to 'shop till we drop'

well, i think Vivo is big lar, but it's not big like i expected it to be. I mean, given such a big space, they can build it up a few floors higher. with only 3 levels and 2 basements (of which B1 is carpark), they're kind of wasting space. Other than cinema, there's many other things they can include in Vivo. Like K Box, bowling alley etc. The shops are almost the same as those you can find in town, but I think there's a few shops worth visiting.

1) Nichii Fashion City. ok I know it sounds really lame, but I think the clothes there are quite not bad. I mean, in places like Vivo where clothes are abit expensive (for me), the clothes there are nice and not expensive!!! Like a office-attired skirt cost only like, $19.90!!! I bought a pair of pants for $23. Maybe it doesn't sound that cheap lar, but the designs are really not that bad lor, it's really worth taking a look.

A point to note is that, however, I think this shop orginates from Malaysia. It kinda explains why the clothes there are on the lower range compared to the rest of the shops. Maybe it will cost even cheaper if you go to Malaysia and buy. Still, I think it's worth a look.

2) The Pet Safari. I can't remember if that is the full name, but it's on the 3rd level, just beside Daiso. Me and irene were wondering what kind of shop is it, so we walked in to take a look. It's mainly a shop for pet owners and sells alot of pet stuff inside, like food and etc. I think they provide grooming as well. That's on the surface lar..

But.. the surprise is inside!!!! They actually sell pets inside!!!! So you can walk in and take a look at the pets. They're sooooooooooooo cute!!!! See see only, no need money lar.

Restaurants wise, I've only been to the HK Kim Gary Restaurant. aaaaaaaaaabit disappointing lar. I prefer xing wang to this. BUT i prefer tong shui to xing wang. hahaha rank them yourselves.
irene says The Asian Kitchen is nice, highly recommending Yue Guang He Fen (which reminds me of the show: Yue Guang Bao He) she says the manager inside is very nice too. He pulls your chair for you AND push it in somemore.
Some restaurants look very cosy though. ohoh!! and there're the Pacific Coffee Company.
I remembered that something's nice from there but I can't remember where I read it from. should be one of the cakes lar. The only other outlet is at Changi T2, so now there's a nearer one. No need to go all the way to Changi liao. haa..

The design of Vivo is abit the, confusing also. I mean, other than wasting space, there's not enough signs (considering it's such a big place). Especially when you're trying to go to B2. One of the escalators won't lead you to the food-B2, but will lead you to the carpark-B2 instead. confusing right! ya many shoppers went down that escalator, expecting it to lead to the eateries only to end up at the carpark. Somemore cannot link de, so all the shoppers have to go up 2 levels back to L1, and look for the correct escalator to go down. stupid right? sighs..

L3 also like that lor. but L3 hai hao, cuz in the centre got a big space, so can cut across. Think the design on L3 is very nice though. I like the outdoors where you can overlook Sentosa. Can take a photo with Merlion from vivo! irene managed to take a picture with Merlion. Upload another day. too lazy liao. haa.. soooo.. if you go vivo, must must must go outdoors. It's like the highlight of vivo.

hmm let me think if I left out anything. sorry ah, I'm a lower end shopper, so i can't comment on the high end shops. hahaha worth taking a look la, but I'd prefer sticking to town and bugis if I want some serious shopping.. ;) more variety lor, town.. I can switch from Far East to taka, to cine and hereens, and not restricted to just vivo alone.

and yes! you guessed it! me and irene conqeuered the whole of vivo yesterday!!!! we managed to cover the whole vivo.Though we didn't go into all the shops, we covered most of them. shops like maternity wear, eateries + resaturants, Daiso, Vivomart and shops-that-can-be-found-in-every-shopping-centre were left out.

I love shopping with irene. heeee. though a small accident happened and I think I scared her, everything else turned out great! let's go shopping again someday k?! ;)
