i really very dui bu qi andy.. he lent me his copy of 50 first dates like, beginning of the year? and i never got around to watching it.. i'm just feel simply too busy to sit down for 2 hrs and finish the show.. so in the end? i watched the movie on tv yday..
SORRY ANDY!!!

anyways, the bad thing about being a psychology student is that you can't enjoy such shows in peace.. you will always be thinking about something psyc-related.

for example, the first problem with this show is that her condition is not called Goldfield (i think it's spelt like this) Syndrome. it's called retrograde amnesia!!
yes yes in case you guys are wondering.. there is really such a case.. and its possible that there is patients like 10-seconds Tom.. just not as exaggerated, maybe..

err then people will start thinking that it's so romantic for Lucy to remember Harry at the end of the show.. that how she manage to remember his looks despite suffering from such a terrible (and some might think ridiculous condition)
erhem.. that is not so romantic, actually..
what happens is that Lucy retained her procedural memory but lost her declarative memory.. so although she seems like she won't be able to remember things from the previous day, she does~!
thats why although she can't say out Harry's name or even remember seeing him, she does remember meeting him..
and hor.. if i'm not wrong.. she's not supposed to hurt her temporal lobe.. should be hippocampus ma... hmm..

anyways, the point is.. it's difficult for me to be touched with this show.. ok ok i'm touched.. cuz Harry is so nice to Lucy.. but still... hahaha

ok.. moral of the story: don't watch films related your course of study and expect to walk away without thinking too much ;)
